Cooling Tower Efficiency

How To Calculate Efficiency Of Cooling Tower Practically Efficiency of cooling Tower is in range of 70-75% and we cannot cool below wet bulb temperature using cooling Tower which is.
Before Understanding the efficiency we need to understand the following parameters related to cooling Tower
1) Inlet Temperature
 2) Outlet Temperature
 3) Wet Bulb Temperature
 4) Range
 5) Approach
 1) Inlet Temprature :- Is the Temprature of water required cooling entering to the cooling Tower.
 2) Outlet Temprature:- Is the Temperature of chilled water cooled by the cooling Tower i.e. The average cooling tower sump water temperature.
3) Wet Bulb Temprature:- Is the Temperature of thermometer with its wick dipped in wet cotton swab.
 4) Range:- Is the difference between Inlet - Outlet Temprature.
 5) Approach:- Outlet Temprature - WBT( Wet Bulb Temprature)

Cooling Tower Efficiency can be calculated by using formula
Cooling Tower Efficiency = (Range/(Range+Approach))*100 %
